Niki Nakayama

To design the in-class graphics for Niki’s course, I wanted to create a visual language that reflected her inventive approach to Kaiseki cooking, playful and innovative, but always rooted in tradition. Chapter titles feature ingredients and tools dancing along a grid, alive and continuously shifting into new compositions with an underlying structure.
